- Heat the oil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the pork and brown, turning occasionally, for 5 minutes.
- Add the onion, ketchup, vinegar, molasses, sugar, mustard powder, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, and broth. Stir the mixture well to combine and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 1½ hours, or until the pork is very tender.
- Uncover the saucepan, remove the pork to a cutting board, and loosely cover with foil. Continue to simmer the remaining sauce 10 minutes longer, or until the sauce has thickened slightly. Remove from the heat. Pull the pork into shreds with two forks and serve with the sauce
